About us
Koshish is a practice-first exam preparation platform. This page states plainly what it is, what it does, and what it deliberately does not do.

Koshish is an exam-preparation and spaced-revision platform for Indian competitive exams — UPSC, SSC, Banking, Railways, Defence, State PSC and Police — and for professional certifications. It began in 2025 and is built on verified previous-year questions and spaced-revision scheduling, not on long-form authored lessons.
Practise verified exam-style MCQs and previous-year questions, revise with spaced repetition that brings each topic back just before you would forget it, follow an adaptive plan that responds to your actual performance, and see how strong you are topic by topic. The next step is chosen from evidence about your performance, not a fixed ratio. "Verified" here means a question has passed our review pipeline and can be served in the app right now; anything shown as verified is counted from that servable set.
We do not ship a lesson-reader or long-form authored courses. We do not run field tests or publish predicted scores. We do not invent metrics, user counts or testimonials, and we do not label a question with a year or shift unless that specific claim is backed by evidence. While our reviewer desks are unstaffed we do not print a named reviewer or author byline.
Exam syllabus, eligibility and paper-pattern facts are restated from the official notification or brochure that governs them. Each source-backed row carries its official source URL and provenance in our corpus, and primary documents are snapshotted so a later change is detectable. Our Editorial Policy explains the process in full.
If a feature or question bank is not ready, we show an empty or coming-soon state rather than a placeholder dressed up as real content. When a page shows a freshness date, it is the date that page's content last changed — not a review we cannot prove.
Questions, corrections or data requests: support@koshish.app. For a formal complaint, use the in-app grievance form; the Grievance Officer page explains the process and the 30-day resolution window.
